I really do love cupboards.
It's my work, your vision.
Pine units stained with antique oak.
The best fit for your clothes.
They come in all shapes and sizes and anything is possible. Drawers, rails, double rails, shelves, shoe shelves, half shelves, floor to ceiling, cornice, skirting, plain doors, shaker doors, drawers behind doors, rails behind rails...
Something about me.
Based in Grangetown and working for myself since 2008. I undertake carpentry projects big and small in any style you desire.
The nature of the city in which we live, where Edwardian and Victorian terraces dominate, has lead me to specialise in traditional looking units, alcove shelves and wardrobes. When 'storage' is the operative word every space is utilised and configured differently to suit the individual, with any combination of ledges, drawers and racks, each job is challenging and unique.
I enjoy a discursive relationship with the homeowner, together developing a design and a finish to complement their home and their lifestyle. Show me a space and I'll build something in it, give me a brief and I'll follow it!
Of course it's not all about bespoke creations; the usual carpenter diet of skirting boards and architrave, hanging doors, laying flooring and loft boarding are just as valuable for your home and just as exciting for me.

The centerpiece of your hallway
Stair Spindles and Banisters
Chunky or slim, classic Edwardian, modern, stop chamfered or chrome.
Add light and finesse to your hallway or your lounge. Take away that bulky 1950's boarding and those ancient mismatching spindles with the eight years of flaking paint.
The stairs are no longer a mountain to climb but a centerpiece of classic good looks and joy.
Plywood is supremely versatile, your shelves can be as deep as you need, perfect to house your 12" vinyls and the heavy encyclopedias you just can't throw away. Shelving units can be cut around the existing features of your room, over door and radiators, and incorporate plugs and switches.
I take on outdoor work too, here's a taster of some sheds and doors i've built. One to house a BBQ and the smaller one is now home to a washing machine!
SHEDS, NEW SHED DOORS, DECKING, GARDEN GATES, PLANTERS, TRELLISING
A fantastic way to maximise your storage.
Customise your 'cwtch dan star'.
Be it a little house for the hoover or a pull out rack for all the family shoes every little bit of space can be used.
Thank you for looking and reading. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
